Our process

From first call to first swim.

Every project follows the same disciplined four-stage journey — designed to keep you informed, in control, and excited from concept to completion.

Discipline is the difference.

Pool construction has a deserved reputation for stress: blown budgets, ghost-builders, surprise variations, finishes that don't match what was sold. We've built our business model around eliminating those failures.

Every project — from a $90,000 plunge pool to a $1.5M commercial build — follows the same four stages, with the same documentation, the same client communication rhythm, and the same end-of-stage sign-offs.

Stage 01

Consult.

Free, no-obligation on-site consultation, typically lasting 60-90 minutes.

We start every project with a site visit. We walk the space with you, understand how you want to use the pool, look at access for construction, check site levels, identify any obvious soil or services issues, and have a frank conversation about budget and timeline.

What you receive:

  • Honest feedback on what's achievable on your site and in your budget
  • Indicative pricing range for your brief
  • Realistic timeline
  • A clear written summary within 48 hours

Typical duration: 1 week from first call to written follow-up.

Stage 02

Design.

Detailed design, materials selection, and fixed-price quote.

Once you've decided to proceed, we develop the design properly. CAD drawings, 3D renders for complex projects, full material specifications, equipment selection, and a detailed line-item quote — not a single bottom-line number.

What you receive:

  • Detailed CAD drawings and 3D renders
  • Material and finish samples
  • Equipment schedule with model numbers
  • Line-item fixed-price quote
  • Construction program with key milestone dates
  • Approvals submission (CDC or DA)

Typical duration: 2-4 weeks including council approval.

Stage 03

Build.

Construction managed by our in-house team with rigorous milestone reporting.

Construction begins. We don't sub the whole job out — our core trades are in-house, and we directly manage the trades we engage (tilers, stonemasons, electricians, landscapers). You have one project manager, one phone number, one accountable party.

What you receive:

  • Weekly photo-and-status reports
  • Fortnightly site walks with your PM
  • Documented milestone sign-offs
  • Variations only with written approval and updated pricing
  • A dedicated project manager from start to finish

Typical duration: 4-6 weeks for residential concrete pools.

Stage 04

Handover.

Commissioning, training, and ongoing support.

We don't disappear when the water goes in. Handover includes full commissioning of all equipment, water chemistry balancing, training on automation systems, and an as-built documentation package.

What you receive:

  • Full equipment commissioning and water balancing
  • On-site training session
  • Equipment manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings
  • NSW Pool Compliance Certificate
  • 12-month defects liability period
  • Optional ongoing maintenance contracts

Typical duration: 1-2 weeks of commissioning and training.

Five things most pool builders don't do.

1. We give you a fixed price — and we honour it.

Variations only happen for genuine scope changes you request — not because we underquoted to win the job. We'd rather lose a quote than win and disappoint.

2. We weekly-report with photos.

Every week of construction, you get a photo update and status report. You always know where the project is, what's coming next week, and what (if anything) needs your input.

3. We document everything.

As-built drawings, equipment serials, warranty documents, water chemistry baseline, maintenance schedule. All handed over in a tidy package. Valuable when you sell.

4. We give you one project manager.

No phone-tree, no "talk to the other guy", no who-said-what. One person owns your project from consult to handover.

5. We stay around.

12-month defects liability is the legal minimum. We service pools we built 10+ years ago. We're not going anywhere.

Let's build something remarkable.

Whether you're at the dream stage or ready to break ground, we'd love to hear about your project. Book a no-obligation site visit with our team.
