We Build Pools and Spas is the dedicated aquatic arm of We Build Australia — bringing construction-grade discipline and craftsmanship to the design and build of premium pools, spas, and wellness facilities.

Our story

A construction company that builds pools — not the other way around.

We Build Australia has been quietly delivering construction projects across NSW for over fifteen years — commercial fitouts, residential builds, structural renovations. Along the way, we kept being asked the same question by clients:

"You build everything else properly — can you build us a pool too?"

For years, we subcontracted that work out. And we watched, again and again, what most of our clients had already experienced: pool builders disappearing mid-project, blown timelines, surprise variations, finishes that didn't match the renders.

So we built our own. We Build Pools and Spas Pty Ltd is the result — a dedicated aquatic construction company with the project management discipline, financial backing, and technical depth of a proper construction firm.

Our philosophy

Four things we believe.

i.

A pool is architecture.

It deserves the same thinking as the home itself — site analysis, structural engineering, materials specification, longevity planning. Not a templated product.

ii.

Fixed price means fixed price.

Variations should happen for genuine scope changes, not because we underquoted to win the job. We'd rather lose a quote than win and disappoint.

iii.

You should know what's happening.

Weekly photo updates. Fortnightly site walks. One project manager from start to finish. No phone-tree, no hiding.

iv.

We stay around.

The 12-month defects liability period is the legal minimum. We service pools we built 10+ years ago. A construction company that doesn't stay around isn't really a construction company.

Our parent company, We Build Australia Pty Ltd, has been delivering construction projects across NSW for over fifteen years.

That heritage means a few practical things for our pool clients:

  • Financial stability. We're not a one-bad-project-away outfit.
  • In-house trades. Concreters, formworkers, project managers — all on the payroll.
  • Real insurance. Full builders warranty insurance, public liability, and workers comp.
  • Proper documentation. The kind that survives auditors and stands up at resale.
  • Long-term relationships. We expect to be servicing your pool a decade from now.

NSW Builder Licence

Fully licensed under the Home Building Act 1989. All work covered by NSW Home Building Compensation Fund where required.

Public Liability

$20M public liability insurance on every project. Documentation provided on request.

Workers Compensation

Full NSW workers compensation insurance. All staff and subcontractors covered.

SPASA Member

Member of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia. Bound by their code of conduct.

NSW Health Compliant

Commercial pools delivered to NSW Health Public Swimming Pool & Spa Guidelines.

BCA / NCC Compliant

All builds compliant with the National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia.
